Human resources management deals with manpower planning and development related activities in organization.Arguably it is that branch of management where ethics really  matter ,since it concerns human issues specially those of compensation,development,industrial relations and health and safety issues.


Ethical issue in HR:

1.Cash and incentives.
2.Performance appraisal.
3.Race and Disability.
4.Employment issues.
5.Privacy issues.
6.Safety and health.
7.Restructuring and layoffs.

Unethical Issue in HR:

*Exploiting cheap labor market.
*Using child labor.
*Longer working hours.
*Increasing work stress.
*Unfair allocation of pay and benefit.
*Biased opportunity in promotion, development.
*using non-performance factor in appraisals.
*Not providing the proper environment.

Roles of HR In Promoting Ethics :

1.Improve recruitment and selection tests
                    >Follow the recruitment policy that is identification of the recruitment needs monetary aspects,criteria of selection and preferences etc.;
                    >Follow the situational factors each an economic factors,social factors,technological factors etc.;
                    >Selection meant he is planned manner.
                     >Avoid illegal questions.
2.Conduct ethics training:
              It is a short term process of training give to the HR of the organization to do their.

Ethics in Marketing:

Ethics are explained as the moral principle and value that oversee action and decisions of a person or group ......In ethical way can build loyal customers, get more referrals, and will be building a positive image about their business.

Ethical Issues in Marketing:

*Ethical marketing refers to the application of marketing ethics into the marketing process.
*Marketing ethics has the potential to benefit society as a whole,both in the short-and long term.
*Study of ethical marketing should be included in applied ethics and involves examination of whether or not an honest and factual representation.

Ethics in Finance:


In general is concerned with human behavior that is acceptable or "right" and that is not acceptable or "wrong" based In on conventional morality. .....They relate to all aspects of life, including business and finance.Financial ethics is therefore, a subset of general ethics.

Ethical Issues in Finance:

*Determining key elements of the business e.g. objectives and how they are defined and measured.
*Making sure that funds are allocated to different activities.
*Frame rules that have a positive effect on business activities.

Unethical Issues in Finance:


- The unethical practices in accounting are more in proprietary, partnership and private limited companies.
- It is at lower levels in public limited companies and MN Cs.
- Collecting loans from private financiers at higher rate of interest to help kith and kin and to get kick-backs.
- Not prompt in statutory payments of ESI, PF, Sales Tax and excise duties.

Roles of Finance in Promoting Ethics:

*Estimation of capital requirement.
*Choice of sources of fund.
*Investment in fund.
*Management of cash.
*Disposal of income.
*To plan a sound capital structure.
